— PROLOGUE · REGULA SANCTI BENEDICTI

The Rule of St. Benedict, written in the sixth century, has shaped this house for one hundred and nineteen years. Our day is a simple one — chanted prayer seven times a day, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, work in the gardens and the bindery, lectio divina, silence, and the company of brothers.
You are welcome to share in any of it. Pull up the wooden gate at the end of the road, and come in.

Hospitium

Let all guests be received as Christ.

We keep a guesthouse of fourteen cells, set apart from the cloister but joined to the church. Guests share in the Hours, take meals in silence with the community on most days, and are otherwise free to walk, to read, to sleep, to pray.
